Yes, the news is true. The most successful smartphone of the world Apple iPhone is now very cheap in India. American Company Apple's product is now available at a larger rate in the country. They have started the sale of iPhone 4 via Aircel.
But, iPhone 3, which was the earlier model of the company is now very cheap in the country. Though, there is no authorized wholesale dealer of Apple in India, they are sending their products. Currently, in Delhi, iPhone 3 is priced at Rs. 19000 while iPhone 4 is at Rs. 35000. The price difference is so large that people are still going for the earlier model.
iPhone 3 is perfect for 3G services and has the capacity of storing upto 8GB. This one has lesser number of facilities but is easy to use once functioning is understood well. You can download 'n' number of things via iTunes. For common Indian people, the usage may be a bit of problem in the beginning but is very user friendly once in regular use.
