Metallica : We are coming India... get ready for some serious headbanging!


One of the best all time favourite metal rock band in the music history Metallica is going to come India late this october. The 'Nothing Else Matters' and the 'My Apocalypse' masters have assured that they will be performing in Bengaluru and Gurgaon.



Metallica will be rocking as a part of F1 Rocks—the  music segment of the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix—held in Leisure Valley, Sector 29, Gurgaon, on October 28, 2011. They will also be playing two days later on 30th October in Bangalore Palace Ground, Main Palace, Bengaluru, as part of the Sonisphere Festival.

The band members told media that, "At this stage in the game, there are a very few places in the world where we havn't performed so our show in India for the first time makes this show announcement extra special. Indians have got a great passion for rock and heavy metal which which dragged us to India.

In an interview with media, Metallica Bassist, Robert Trujillo, said, "It is so interesting to go and pla at a place where we have never ever imagined in our dreames. It is a great honour for us to be a part of that whole music scene as a metal band sharing our music with fans in India at this incredible concert!"

All tickets are general admission and will go sale on Ticketgenie and Dnanetworks websites where a registration form has to be filled with all details. The payment of the tickets will start from first week of August so all the Metallica lovers fill the form and start collecting money for the show since the rate of ticket is still not mentioned. It is assumed that the rate of the ticket will vary from Rs 2000-10000.
So, all the metal fans, get set for some really serious head banging!
