The much awaited upcoming film 'Bodyguard' is based on the love story of a bodyguard with the daughter of an industrialist. In the film, Salman Khan has played the character of 'Lovely Singh' who is a very disciplined man is very punctual about time and his work. He has no regret about his work and always tries to give his 100%. Lovely Singh gets appointed as the bodyguard of the daughter 'Divya' (Kareena Kapoor) of industrialist 'Sartaj Rana'.

Lovely Singh always remains with Divya like her shadow. Due to this, Divya gets disturbed and starts considering him as an obstacle in leading a free life. For getting rid of him, Divya makes a plan. She makes a plan of engaging Lovely in the cobweb of fake love so that Lovely gets busy in romance and she gets the freedom to do the activities of her choice.

Fascinating Lovely Singh isn't an easy work, but somehow Divya succeeds in doing so. Lovely Singh changes completely and falls in love with her. He starts loving her truly but circumstances change later. Divya discovers such facts about Lovely that she had never ever imagined even in her dreams. She finds herself trapped in a troublesome situation and along with her Lovely Singh also finds himself trapped in a fake cobweb made up of guile and lies.

Siddiqui is a big name in South India films. He has worked in many hit films as a story writer, script writer and director. Super hit Hindi films such as Hera-Pheri, Bhagambhag and Dhol are made on his stories. He is making the film 'Bodyguard' for the 3rd time. Previously he has made it in Malayalam and Tamil languages. Now, it is being made simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. It is expected that the movie will be release at the occasion of Eid.
